For many people with back or neck pain, headaches, sciatica or jaw issues, evidence-based chiropractic care can reduce pain and improve movement by restoring joint function and easing muscle tension. If we believe chiropractic is not right for you, we will explain why and refer to the appropriate provider.
Chiropractic care is generally very safe when delivered by a qualified practitioner. At Kai Chiropractic we take a thorough history, perform testing, and refer for imaging when appropriate, then discuss any risks before treatment so you can make an informed decision.
We start with a detailed history and movement assessment, explain your findings in plain language, and if appropriate provide treatment on the day. You leave with a clear plan that includes what to do, what to avoid, and how we will measure progress.
Recovery time depends on the condition, how long you have had it, your activity and work demands, and adherence to the plan. Many patients feel some improvement within the first few visits, while longer-standing problems usually need a structured plan to stabilise and strengthen. We review progress regularly and adjust the plan so you are not over-treated.
Yes. If you have private health extras that include chiropractic, you can claim a rebate by submitting the invoice we provide, typically via your fund’s app or website. If you have an eligible GP referral under the Chronic Disease Management program, Kai Chiropractic provides a Medicare rebate of $63.50 per visit and processes this on the clinic side, so there is no extra work for you. CDM referrals allow up to five allied health visits in a calendar year, subject to eligibility.
